This movie was absolutely thrilling to watch! There was a lot of suspense and action making you wanting to know what will happen next. The theme of ‘family,’ used in the movie made the story heartfelt and relatable to the close bonds many of us feel with our very own relatives. What I enjoyed most about the movie, was the sisterhood of the sisters and their relationships with one another aswell as people around them. The conversations were absolutely funny and heartwarming even though they were living at a time where there is war and evil. I find story of these four sisters and their mother trying to survive during the war truly magnificent and I love the lengths they go to to protect not only each other but poor slaves who are in need of desperate help. My favourite character was Anna because she was funny and opinionated. What I didn’t like about the movie though, was the hypocrisy. The March family says they are are against the use of slaves as they find it cruel, although they own a slave. I don’t think that makes any sense. Although, I still think this movie is fantastic!
